I have to write this now because I am just so excited…it can’t wait. Especially since I am listening to Adele’s new album, which I recommend to anyone (especially those who love the White Stripes strong beats. Well tomorrow I am going to be testing the impossible…at least my impossible!
This cake maker, I am not going to be bold and say artist…not yet, will be making a topsy turvy cake. It will be a circular shape & everything beautiful…as well as buttery. I wouldn’t have it any other way though…the buttery smell of the batter against my fork and glass bowl. I am going to be using colored fondant, for the first time on an entire cake! And I will be rolling the fondant on a surface covered with crisco…not powdered sugar. It seems a bit odd to me to do roll fondant in crisco but it is worth a try. And I don’t want to have my icing/spread all over my countertop. I would be scraping it off for good half hour to get it all off…including that sticky feel.
Anyways! So excited…I hope this Crisco thing works. I am going to research it a bit more just to get a little more information about it. I will post a photo or something when I am finished! Give me a recipe if you want me to test it!!!
